mk 2 issue

first of all this happened to me in singleplayer
i decided to do the shadowstalker mk.II and i completed it , but when i went to the oplace to get it, first i saw the white beam from far but when i got closer it dissapeared and then i landed and when to the spot and there was nothing, i looked at the sky and everything was fine, the pink, orange and grreen beam where there but there was no white beam and no shadowstalker, what can i do?
