About upgrading to mvp+

I just upgraded to mvp+ and my brother and friends are telling that I should of gotten more bamboo when I upgraded. Before, I had about 250k and than after only had a total of about 700k?
Can you clear this conception up as to why so little from upgrading?

What rank did you upgrade from? As in from MVP to MVP+ or VIP+ to MVP+. MVP –$200,000 Bamboo (Credits) then MVP+ – $350,000 In Game Bamboo, so if you made 50,000 bamboo in-game you would have 700,000

I upgraded from Mvp to Mvp+. By your response, I would only have recieved $350,000 Bambo from the upgrade?

You would receive 480k for Pvp and 150k for RP.

As stated on our front page right above the Purchase form:
Note that all Rank Upgrades award the difference in Bamboo (Credits) lump sum between your previous Rank and the Upgraded Rank.
880k - 400k = 480k.
You already got 400k for MVP ($20), and now by purchasing your upgrade of $20, you get another 480k, totaling the same 880k that any other supporter receives from getting MVP+ straight off the bat. If you were to receive more from upgrading your way up than from getting MVP+ off the bat, everyone would just upgrade, and the Member Rank system would not be fair and balanced.
