Rank Kits?

I have a question... I recently bought MVP+ and I chose Maplestrike and Honeybadger (PDW) as my kits. Now when I use those kits I only get a base gun and two magazines. Is this how it is supposed to be as on the rank store page it distinguises "VIP kit" to "MVP+ kit" and so I believe there would be difference between the two types of kit right?
