Questions about robberies.

I was recently robbed about 20 minutes ago, the robber was Flowitity and Tiillo was his body guard. Jean came over to kill the robbers and killed the robber, Flowitity. Though when he stopped shooting for about a second I thought I was saved but Jean continued to shoot me too. Jean said that 'he thought' that since i was standing and not laying down like Tiillo was that I was the body guard. Jean ended up killing Tiillo after, and made me TPA to him... there was a mod sit with Jean and two other mods, I do not remember their names but they concluded that Flowitity and Tiillo where fair kill. Though they decided that it was wrong to kill me and Jean claimed crossfire, so I was not refunded my items. This is basically stating that if I was a cop I could stop a robbery by shooting everyone near him and then also him and it would be considered free loot and no one would be given refunds. May I just be refunded my Items? Thank you for reading this message.

Technically, I'd think it'd be fail RP simply bc the whole reason "anyone is allowed to kill the robber" is to save the victim....not kill them.
