Good ideas, but how would they work? what keeps me from suing 2bloo every time i see him? how long will a trial take?

Please give me an example of how you would like to see this implemented, and why.

A defense trial should take no longer than 10mins.

Well, I think there should be the two people being represented, they're lawyers (unless self-represented) And a Judge. First, the Prosecution should make a statement, then the Defence should make a counter argument, and then the Prosecution should make a final response. After this they should both put in closing remarks and then it is the Judges job. Should not take more than 6-7 minutes I don't think.

Well to sue you have to have a justifiable cause like if 2bloo caused damage to your property of if he was annoying and lost some of your customers. A lawsuit would take no longer than probably 5-10mins and if you win the suit the defendant pays a sum of money to the prosecution. What would keep you from repetitive suing would be court fees based on how much you are suing him for. A judge would be appointed (or it could be a cool role) and would decide on the matter at hand.

For a defense trial, there would be a judge appointed, both parties would take turns telling their part of the story. (to avoid screaming and cursing) If the case lasted longer that 10minutes a mistrial would be reached and the defendant would go free (other opinions would be great to hear also). But if the lawyer purposely made the trail longer than it needed to be he would have to pay the defendants original bail.

UPDATE: earlier I was walking around and I noticed a guy getting jailed calling out for a lawyer, but since there was no lawyer and no court he could not be tried fairly. Wake up America and let's make the lawyer great (not again, they were never great)!

Lawyer is a dead role, we just need to get rid of it not change it, replace it with something better! We want a new role! Im guessing their hasnt been one since the start of this server but it would be good!

The lawyer is not dead, we can revive it! I built a court house and told Hazzah what the court will be like. The lawyer is a necessary role to keep the police in check and add a greater social aspect to the game.
