Is there a way to preserve your files when you restart your computer completely?

What do you mean by restart? When you restart your OS there should be an option to save all your files.

There is an option to save all my files, but I need to delete all my files and completely reset my whole pc in order to regain my admin password. That is why I would like to know if there is a way to preserve your files cuz it took me like 5 minutes to make my pic and I'm not taking another 5 minutes.

Use a flashdrive or portable hard drive and put all of the files onto that.
