Mods need to not be so ban crazy

I just think that mods should use the warn system more often, some mods are really good at that and warn players who dont know instead of banning them for an hour. Some mods love to go strait to the /ban which really isnt necessary in most scenarios and i think that those mods need to be told something like "ay man thats not really necessary, why do you think we have a /warning command yuh cheeky prick". If youre a mod and youre reading this, i suggest - if you dont already - start using the /warn command because its a nice alternative to /ban.

Everything is up to mod discretion, however all mods follow a loose guide that gives suggestions for ban times.
People who are new and KOS get a 1 Hour to ban read the rules, because if we ./warn them they will probably break another rule because they haven't read the rules...

I would like to comment one thing on this, no RP trial mods have the permission to use /warn, so they end up having to ban them for one hour.

Nearly all my bans were mandatory because if I let them off on warnings they would suddenly go back to KOS or Log to Evade.

Some people just need to be banned because they clearly dont know the rules and if you warn them they will most likely not read them so i think them banning is a better choice than a verbal warning. Only mods would really know about this because it is harder than you think being a mod.

But to add on to this. We had over 20 demotes recently. I would be afraid for what trial mod would abuse the /warn command. Plus more than likely almost everyone would have warnings all the time. "God *****" *EricPrince was warned for cursing. "You really need a better reason to warn me" *EricPrince was warnes for staff disrespect. (And so on)
