This could be an Issue for me

Some of you may know that I play and administrate on a Samsung Laptop, and at sometime today I accidentally spilled Coca Cola on the keyboard area (Eventually spreading to the speakers & slightly to the back near the battery). My first reaction was to pick up the coca cola can and place down, run to the bathroom and get as much tissue as I possible can. Then I realised I need to unplug the charger and battery to decrease any damage done but as I was unplugging the charger the laptop kind of just went into shutdown mode and turned off briefly, but I just hit the power button and it started back up again. After realising that a lot of the coke was now pretty much soaking inside the laptop I ran into my mums room to get out her hairdryer and just started to heat around the laptop, the weird thing is it actually stopped a lot of the coke soaking into the laptop. The main areas I focused on were the Battery area, the keyboard and the fan section.
I'm making this topic because I have no idea what is going to happen to this laptop after I turn it off, I'm not sure if it's even going to turn back on or if something is just going to go completely wrong, but I hope not. If it does break It could be a while before I get on, I'm thinking around 2 Weeks or so as my Birthday is really close I will hope that my parents will either buy me a new computer/laptop or if I receive a lot of money that I will be able to afford a new computer/laptop.
But yea this is just a warning that something could go wrong.
Thanks,
Agent.
