i'm pretty sick of getting harassed and biased by other staff, and it makes me not want to be one anymore lmao.
i had fun temporarily, but i don't even want the promo anymore. seeing the behavior and constant command abuse by other staff has turned me off of the idea completely.
people such as ry, enigma, hardium ( but hardium only at very select times ) harassing, threatening and belittling me because i call them out on their abuse is completely absurd. but this isn't a player report, so i don't feel the need to even acknowledge it anymore.
i've been called a pussy, a cunt, a faggot, and much more by staff for no reason other than because they think they have the right and it puts them above others. i've been kos'd by mod's friends multiple times, and never do they get a punishment other than a warn or a kick.
un-named mods tend to jump to say they "cant handle a friends sit because they'd have bias" when their friend is in the wrong and they know it, but when they lean towards thinking their friend is in the right, they handle the sit instantly and invrestore + refund their buddies. people who apply for this position, are for the most part, far too scared of upsetting their friends. they either don't handle their sits, (which is fine) or COMPLETELY bias them in every way. which is obviously unacceptable.
just today i had been kos'd after being belittled and called a "pussy faggot cunt" and not a single thing happened to the perpetrator, because the mod thinks he would be biased. if you think you can't handle such a screamingly obvious situation without bias, you shouldn't have the role in the first place.
the next thing i'd like to talk about, is tiredness of over half the staff. there's certain members, like slushy, loxton and renard, who i absolutely adore, they jump to handle a sit the second they can, because they enjoy it! and i'm the same way! but there's so many staff who just completely ignore adminh reports, just because they don't want to deal with them. which i UNDERSTAND, but it still doesn't excuse it. recently i had a scenario where three mods false kos'd me for stealing a vehicle that didn't belong to them, and they didn't have access to, needless to say i passed their line of sight for over ten seconds MULTIPLE times, but they still chased me, killed me, then blew up the car.
i talked in chat, adminh, and staff chat. still, no one wanted to jump to action, even the mods who WEREN'T biased in the scenario, just didn't even try to handle it because they would have had to get approval from a higher up.
that aside, the summary goes as this ; after the things i've experienced, heard about and witnessed, as much as i LOVE staff work and LOVE handling sits, i can't bring myself to get promo'd. i don't want a tag to my name that i've seen so many people abuse. staff player reports aren't taken seriously, and new players who get abused don't get listened to because people don't trust them. people lie out of scenarios, people find selfish excuses to abuse their power, and it's just not for me.
i probably don't even need to revoke my position, because i wouldn't get promoted likely anyway due to a separate mod telling me he was going to give me a negative review and ASSURE that i wouldn't get my position fulfilled just because i caught him abusing and called him out. i'm not here to namedrop, i'm not here to piss anyone off, i'm just trying to bring light to the issues at hand with the server. people who've been staff for a long time, still abuse, and don't get punished because of their seniority.
the magic of pandahutrp is in the name, it's the rp. the fact that so many people only even enjoy the server because they have staff privileges is dull, it's no fun, and it's obvious. it takes the fun away from everyone else on the server. hell, just as i'm typing this i watched a mods friend starve to death, the mod tp him back, let him take all his stuff, then inv restore him to dupe the gear.
i really do want to thank slushy, loxton, apples, masonmullins, and many more people for helping me get to the position i'm at, these people really do have a love and dedication to the server that i wish everyone else had.
