If you have a base, shop, shelter or anything like that you gotta pay up, 500 bamboo per 1 square meter (1 floor/roof) of territory, if you have a game built shelter (Pizza place for example) 5000, this would happen once a week and it would automatically take of of your current balance and sent to the TOWN FUND. The Town Fund is something that the mayor can use with a command like /balance switch town with a plugin we would have to make or find. If you do not have enough money to pay the taxes, the house becomes state property and whatever the mayor decides to do is done with it. The maximum tax would be 5000 because more is just too much. This would allow the mayor to pay his employees and to pay for the town services he applies.

Uhh, no. Terrible idea. The fact that players have to pay THAT MUCH for one sq. m. is ridiculous. Also, the idea of having to pay for everything gives the mayor too much power and a metric crap ton of money that he'll only use for like a town hall or give it all away.

A mayor gets payed EIGHT HUNDRED per hour. That's 200 off MVP+. If the mayor has a rank, any rank, he can make a little bit less tan 1k if he has vip, but more than 1k if he has vip+ or anything above.

Yes, I did realize that this was too much money but It was just an example the idea is the main point, the main point is that the Mayor needs to get money in some way.

Actually no, they write laws which is a ton of work, and he does shop funding.

The laws are useless and dumb.

And bamboo is really easy to obtain.

Shop funding is for lazy people who don't feel like putting in the work.

TBH the mayor shouldn't be expected to only use money from his pay, a dedicated mayor should be willing to take money out of their own balance to help the citizens.
