Clarification about Snipers and in robbing.

Earlier today there was a little debacle about this and I would like to see this clarification in the rules for future reference.
My question is if you're robbing with a group of friends and have a long range weapon, how far away you are allowed to be?
Also, do you have to be in sight or, can you be camouflaged?

From what I am personally aware, those assisting a robber MUST be visible and nearby that way the person being robbed is aware. Otherwise it would be a KOS fest.

I agree with banned.
The snipers should not be allowed to help out unless they are in plain sight.

Also, debacle.

I agree with Tublo and Banned. If someone is assisting in a robbery, the person assisting should be in sight to where the person being robbed could shoot him if resisting.

I have agreement with this. But my perspective is that the person robbing should always let the person being robbed know they have a sniper. Otherwise its nothing more than to make it look like a kos.

This applies to robbing someone with a shotgun. Why should i be sniping in plane sight if they shoot my teammate standing in front of them after warning about the sniper.

If a rule like this is made where the robber has to tell the victim a sniper is watching them, then three things would have to be added.
The robber has to mention their sniper in chat, the sniper has to call out they are helping in chat, and the robber has to physically tell their victim which direction the sniper is watching from.
Enforcing a rule like this could be hard, it makes the job of robbing too difficult and makes it too easy to escape by giving more time for the victim to pull a gun.
Personally this sounds redundant and pointless, -1.
