Schwartzy we are fully open to negotiations, simply you either don't talk or only try and KOS us. The cops have to attempt to role play the situation as well.

The whole point is for us to get money though.
If we were to make it easy for you to rescue, then there would be no point.

We do it a lot, but not everyday.
Like, tomorrow, me and Dan will probably do something different, who knows?
We base peoples value off their role, their likability, the size of the group they are in, etc etc.
That's why GAMMA was worth 10k, you 5k, and BurntToast just 2k.

I think both sides should equally value the hostage, not putting him in harm's way. It's a lot more fun if the hostage is locked up in a room and Police launch an attack to free him/her instead of paying. If you’re putting the hostage in front of everyone you're basically just cheating the system and Fail rping. If the hostage dies then what do you have to use to not get mowed down by the cops? I think if the hostage dies the police should still pursue the attacker.

Miku there's an enourmous problem with that, it makes kidnapper just a KOS role with no benefit to role play. It only establishes a KOS scenario. Police honestly need to be nerfed in situations responding to kidnapping. Because they have the absolute numbers whereas the kidnappers only have a hostage. Really the kidnappers would be able to kill the hostage if their demands weren't met and since we can't do that police need to be nerfed because at the moment they don't have to do anything.

The thing is with police being whitelisted soon the police will actually do their job, this means they will respond to kidnappings more than they currently do. With us not being able to defensively use the hostage it will always be 4 police or more against 1-2 kidnappers. Let's look at this in a real life scenario for a minute as this is RP and we are trying to simulate that. If a man has a hostage and the cops are trying to come in is the man going to put the hostage in a closet and tell the hostage not to move or the police who's only job is protecting the hostage might actually shoot him? No said man is going to pull the hostage out and put a gun to his head and say cops if you come in I will shoot this man. So kidnappers are looking at the inability to actually hurt their hostage to fend off police and the inability to stop police from just busting in. How is this at all fair? Kidnappers are extremly vulnerable when first kidnapping the hostage as they will generally be in a wide open area as most people wolnt Come into a building with a kidnapper. This is when police need to strike the kidnapper. I have to say I have only seen a police officer once look for the man before we broadcast his location. Other than that it's just the police sitting on their asses looking at each other. Another thing Schwarzy, since me and tublo kidnap someone "every five minutes" how are you not A. Patrolling looking for us, or B. Setting up at the place we go every single time. Holman island.

The police usually save the hostage because they negotiate and work it out. It's not just a breach and clear whenever the police are called.

Which is why you negotiate and negotiate for free passage.

Roleplay is supposed to be like Real life. In Real life can people take hostages, get payed, and then WALK AWAY TO TAKE ANOTHER? No, they can't. A lot of roles are just KOS roles. But this one is different, you take a hostage and defend vs Police. If kidnappers kill the hostage they have no lean way and the police should hunt them down and arrest/kill. Police don't need a nerf at all. Back to the real life thing, in real life as well there is obviously going to be more police then kidnappers most of the time. But if the kidnappers set up in a building they have a lot of advantages. It is very heavy roleplay if you have a hostage in a building, being attacked by police, you attempted to make a deal but it didn't work out. The police are rushing in but have to not kill the hostages.
