Hello role players of all types! Today is a glorious day, as it marks your new Mayor's first day in office! We have all worked hard for this day to come and stomped on some cheaters along the way! To commemorate this glorious day I have created some new laws for to make this server great again! These laws have been approved and are effective immediately. All police are expected to enforce these laws whole heartedly! All these laws have been carefully thought out and are in effect to make the server better!
Law 1.1- All Pump-jacks must be enclosed within a structure and can not be in visible view from any angle outside of the structure. This is to reduce client side lag by not rendering in the animations. Any Pump-jacks caught being unenclosed are subject to destruction by ANY player. The player who destroys these can not be arrested or killed for doing so.
Law 1.2- There is to be no building within roads or 1 unit close to a road. This means all structures must 1 floor distance away from the road. This goes for bases, checkpoints, and any other placeable object. No longer will players have to deal with roadblocks and other obstructions that can stop a vehicle. Any random free-form objects (anything that is not a base) can be destroyed instantly by Deputies, Captains, and the Mayor. Other players may assist in destroying these but only WITH one of the above roles. Any bases found overlapping or 1 unit close to the road are subject to a warning from the above roles via a metal sign with the following: This base is too close to a road. You have 24 hours to remove it, or it will be destroyed. (Current Date and Hour in EST Rounded up, EXAMPLE: 6/10 2:00 PM EST). Also anyone caught placing a structure or owning a base on or near the road is subject to instant arrest by any degree of police for 20 minutes in jail. Anyone who destroys these bases with valid reason and in the proper way, can not be arrested or killed for doing so.
Law 1.3- All separate bases must be 6 units apart from eachother. This is to prevent too many structures in too small of an area. Any bases caught violating this are subject to a 24 hour warning from Deputies, Captains, and the Mayor. These warnings are to be place via a metal sign with the following: This base is too close to another base. You have 24 hours to move it, or it will be destroyed. (Current Date and Hour in EST Rounded up, EXAMPLE: 6/10 2:00 PM EST). Anyone caught violating this law can only be warned, not arrested. The base that is subject to destruction is the newest base that built next to the first base built. If it is unknown which base was built second, then the smaller, less expensive base is subject to destruction.
These laws are subject to change, and more laws may be added in the future.
