The RP servers need a 10 minute NLR rule, a time limit in which you can not return to the area in which you died to retrieve your gear unless the killing was unjust.
Assume "Bob" returned to get his gear within 15 minutes, an act that by RP his character could not have done because in reality he would have reincarnated without knowledge of losing that gear much less where the gear is.
I am not saying you need to make a new character, but if you return to an area in which you died by legit RP within ten minutes you should be breaking some sort of rule. It really only takes 5 minutes to cross the map in PH13 on foot if you go in a straight line and use your stamina wisely, so 10 minutes is not bad. In fact, you die from a Robbery, so in 10 minutes you can "Happen" across the remaining loot of some "Random" guy who died. I know for a fact that the logs can verify this as the only times it will be relevant is if somebody breaks the rule, in which case you can look for the time the person in question died and then count the minutes that transpired between the death and the first sign of a problem.

The moon is high, tear through the sky. Find your prey, make them pray. They shall pay, within the day. When all is clear, you will hear, the dark wolves howls.
