Ideas for RP 13

Hello,

I have quite a few ideas for RP.
Please take note of the fact I do not RP much and just because I am an admin these ideas will only be put into effect if the RP admins like them. These are simply ideas I thought of.

Every time you join the server, your role is reset and you can pick a new one. I was thinking this because this would allow people to be more dynamic with their role and in general have more fun. No one likes cooldowns. This may be going against a lot of things that were setup with reason but I believe if the RP admins accept this idea it a large number of people would like it. (Note: Obviously special roles such as Police Chief and such wouldn't get their roles reset).

Lower the Role switch cooldown to 10 minutes. I understand this may cause new issues and go against a lot of things but as well I’m sure a lot of players would love this making them enable to first join the server and find the role they love without having to wait days. No one likes cooldowns. There would obviously have to be new rules with role switching. (You can't switch a role just to do something or switch to weapon smith to self-supply and switch back)

Lower most of the cooldowns by halfish. I understand most of the cooldowns are put in place to stop constant killings and such but I really don't see much action on their besides robberies. This would definitely make more killings and such but I think there is a fine line between having very little action and having too action, I believe we are at very little. I understand killings and such would go up but I think staff and alike have to understand for most times there is MOST fun whilst killing, raiding, and robbing, etc.

Add a cooldown to hitman victims. Make it if you have a hit placed on you, you can only get another one after 30 minutes. I believe this would make it so people cannot target people.

I understand these ideas would resolve in a lot of changes and such. I am not saying these will go into effect unless they are accepted by RP admins on 13. I believe doing at least some of these to an extent would allow more action, more fun, and an overall better experience at Pandahut RP 13. Personally I think all long cooldowns are annoying and make people want to quit. No one wants to do something fun to hear they have to wait 30 or so minutes to do it again. As I said before basically ignore the fact an Admin is making this post unless you are only responding because of it.

Please provide feedback about my ideas and don't just say no or yes.

(Ps. Queen and Banned don't kill me, also these are ONLY ideas for RP13)

Please remember not all of these ideas are connected and you could like only specific ones.
Also, if you think this makes it too much like a PVP server, people most like action and firefights. Just not uncontrolled, I think it'd be pretty cool to watch one gang's members kidnapped and took into a base and the gang fights back by raiding them and citizens watch the drama unfold. SWAT and Police also coming in to try to control the situation.

13 needs more mods on at 4:00pm-9:00pm UTC/GMT I see tons of bad things happening! Just something to look in to.

Moderators and Super Mods already change peoples roles when requested, assuming they do not ask multiple times in a short period of time. You don't want someone being able to be a Cop one minute, then a bandit the next. -1

This would turn the server more into a PVP based server. RP is not for everyone, you enjoy your PVP, so when you see the RP servers it seems like there is very little action. The RP servers are for a select player base with a certain play style. Many people enjoy it the way it is. -1

Now this I agree with, but I would say 10 minutes. Hits are already fairly rare. +1

Now this I agree with, but I would say 10 minutes. Hits are already fairly rare. +1
If mods are changing the roles why have the cooldown anyway really? Just to scare people off and make them make 100% sure what role they choose? Seems pointless if your going over it anyway

There is a cooldown on setting hits. It's 5 minutes to set a new hit and 15 on the same person from anyone.

I might sound silly, especially from me a "RP ADMIN" but I love the killing. The Action in RP. RP doesn't mean to base it off real life, RP can also be based of movies, stuations, and fantasy things lol. And in a zombie apocolypse, honestly, never will you see "LESS" action. I am still debating on why am I RP Admin, because most of the people that know me also knows that I'd rather kill. Thanks to hitman and Bandit, I'm having fun on RP. But yeah, here is what I say:

1. I do believe that if you are one specifice role (Bandit) and change to another role (RCMP) and then a day after you think your new role sucks after playing it a while, you /role Bandit but then it makes you 3 days. I think the most should be 1 day.

-If moderators are just allowing people to change roles, imma talk to that mod. Let them wait out their role, useless implementing a cooldown and just go changing everyones role when they ask for it.

2. Shorten cooldown on raids and robbing. Because the server makes me fall asleep when their is no action. No Deaths, No blood, No spice. JUST DULL. (my opinion). Say 15mins for raids and 10mins to rob. Hitman'c cooldown should be slightly lowered too, like 15 mins. In RL (or as other modsand admins base it from) hitmans have no cooldowns, neither raids or robs have cooldowns in RL. but ok i guess. More action, more mind wrecking, more stress, more adrenaline, more salty players, more fun. lol or how I look at it but okay. Miku, we are on the same mindset.

There is a reason these "cool downs" were implemented. There are some people who will abuse the switching of the roles.
not only is (no offense) a bad idea, it makes the more like a PVP server, because people will think; oh there is no cool down why rp when i can rob/raid and hopefully get his gear, This will destroy the RP side of the server, we are trying to make it more RP than PVP.

I was wondering the same thing. This "accidentally added" cooldown was a big issue at one point, lol

The victim cooldown is currently set to 0 on both of the RP servers, which is why I believe Miku suggested this. I'll go ahead and change it to 15 min.

Could we give farmers the permission to buy/sell

1)Eggs
2)Milk

In a farm, there's farm animal such as cows and chickens ... yet in RP they are restricted to buy them. Is there a reason? On 13, some players want ways to grow money in exotic jobs yet. Since there's feasts, a weaponsmith can earn a good $500 per feast while farmers have to wait a good 8hr (skillz max) to receive the plants. Is there a way to nerf the weaponsmith so players have the possibility to become different roles to receive money.

Sorry if I focused this post on farmers, I noted that we as a Role Playing Server has ... only focus on the 4 main groups (Builder, RCMP, Bandit,Weaponsmith). We lost the interest of cool roles such as the famous Uber Driver. Maybe a change is what we need?
