So I have been looking through the rules and cannot seem to find anything in this (sorry if there is anything). So I am wondering whether it is still KOS if you are a bandit and are resisting police arrest or have illegal items on you and officers are requesting to search you. In real life people would kill police to escape jail and surely that would be the case here, but i don't want to try it out first hand

If you are being arrested by a police officer yes you can kill them. If you are a bandit and another bandit is being arrested by a police officer you can kill that police officer and so far police cannot do anything to you with out doing /arrest so that commands will have to be called.

Ok allow me to explain.
If you are a bandit, and you are robbing someone, you cannot kill them until they pull out a weapon, or they don't follow your warnings. You are required to say , in global chat, "warning 1 drop your backpack and guns", and then continue in area/voice chat. If they do not drop them by warning 3, you may kill them.

As a bandit, if you see another bandit getting arrested, you can go and kill the officer performing the arrest and any other officers assisting in the arrest.

As a police officer, when arresting someone, if they are a bandit and they pull out a weapon, you may kill them immediately. If it is, say, a mechanic and you arrest them, you cannot shoot them until they shoot first.

Another thing, if you are being arrested, no matter what role you are, you can kill the officer arresting you, and any officers assisting in the arrest. I hope I cleared this up.
