The same reason as rob assist
When a player is arresting you and the one getting arrested kill the one that arrest him other police officiers come and kill the arrested and he can't do allmost anything about that cause he don't know if they are "assisting" in the arrest or just watching or maybe not a police force role

We absolutely need this!!! this personally have happened to me. like they arrest me and i kill the police and the other police that is chilling there kills me.

This is only my opinion:

Every officer "assisting" needs to do /arrest, and this is why:

If the robber can assume any officer in sight is assisting, it would be a KOS feast... so everyone participating in the arrest needs to use the command...

Then two things can happen:
- If only one or two officers call arrest, the arrested player can only kill those officers;
- If several officers call the arrest, the arrested player can kill the officers around him (not fair for him to look for all the officers arresting);

Again, this is my opinion, its not in the rules.

People are not doing that too there is one calling the arrest and others standing near him with guns ready to shoot

If there is a raid assist and rob assist why not add an arrest assist command? its probably not very difficult to implement having the other two.

Arrest assist might actually be more important than the rob assist, since to assist a robbery you could just use the /rob name command on the victim, not very difficult, but to arrest you have to do /arrest name "reason", with an arrest assist command it would not be needed for the assisting officers to type the reason.
