Is it free loot if I'm trading with another player, I drop the item and someone grabs it and doesn't give it back?
I was playing on server 10 RP Washington on 10/1/16. I was trading with someone named '' BOKU NO EVITE'' and a trial mod named Ben came up and stole the item as I was giving it to boku. Was it free loot? Time this happened around 6:40 - 6:50. I feel that this wasn't free loot but I would appreciate if someone could clarify.

No it wasn't Free loot,you should have told rag who was online atm.Or if you think it wasn't fair with the staff did, you can go here and report the staff member

Hi This is Mod Borris/Ivan From what i know, Yes the player can just take the loot and bail, We have commands for gunsmiths to sell and buy, but otherwise its up to players to do their trading in a safe location to prevent this.

This is from Section 3 of our Roleplay commands guide.

How to sell a gun as a weaponsmith
To sell a gun to a player (whilst being a weaponsmith) you can do /sellgun player amount Example: /sellgun RagnarosPower 1000
When the sellgun command has been done, the input player will be sent a confirmation asking if he wants to buy Gun x for the amount of x. If the player confirms with a command then the weaponsmith will be paid and the gun will be given to the buyer.

When the player receives his gun he will also be given a 1 day license for it (To avoid instant arrests) although the license price will also be taken out of the buyer's account.

Other then that It is up to the players to find a way to trade safely, It would be to much hassle for staff to enforce this, it has always been a thing that ground items are free game UNLESS its KOS loot. Other wise staff would never be done stopping this. Thank you.

Yes, that is free loot. As stated by allmenkill we added the /sellgun command for a reason so next time use that when trading.
