Personally this is my look at this subject +1 if you agree with me.
If someone runs into the road and gets killed it's their fault not the drivers... I think players should not get a TP back to their gear it was there fault in real life (RP) and you die its your fault not the drivers.

+1 I Agree if someone runs directly into the road with no indication how could it be the drivers fault? it just does not make sense

Yea but people will abuse this and just go full speed to someone that is on the road to cdm him and then say it's his fault for being on the road.
In other words he saw the guy but will cdm him for his loot anyways

Theres never a CDM that only 1 person sees... there needs to be a witness if someone wants to say it was on purpose.

If your in the main city yes, but what about if two people meet in other places

I sadly don't agree with you on this madness, as a mod you can't take one person side on saying it was his or her fault.
I like the cdm rule as is tbh

If someone purposely RUNS into the car it's their fault.

If Im the mod on duty,I would tp to the driver of the vehicle, tp said person who died back due to

A: It was probaly a accident
B: It would be annoying to said person who lost their gear

If the driver of the vehicle keeps running over people then It would lead to a mod sit there for talking to both the drive and all the people he has hit, if he has purposely done it then the driver would receiving the punishment. If the driver hit someone in the middle of the road then it would be the person who died fault, and the police sould be the ones who deal with this.

All im saying is that it should not be used as a excuse to hit someone, you can use the "space bar" to fully stop in about 2 seconds flat, although some people use this rule to their advantage and gain gear from it.

Ok. The rule that all road kills are considered koses was implemented when hardcore RP was enforced. Before and during hardcore RP, you could not take any loot from someone you cdmed, may it be on accident or on purpose. If it was on accident and then you took loot, you would be banned for cdm. If it was purposeful and you took loot, then you have to drop all loot and then you will be banned.

Before Hardcore RP
Not all cdms were kos
You didn't have to be teleported back in all cases
You could not take loot from someone you cdmed.

Hardcore RP
All cdms are KoSes
The player must be teleported back
No loot may be taken from the body
The player would be warned/banned (mod's discretion)
