Before I say anything at all let me start by admitting that I completely agree with this rule as a rule. As a rule FearRP will encourage true RP. However in my opinion this rule is too strict.

Now let me quickly mention something. I have left the Sheriff's Office for several reasons. One of these reasons is my love of playing sociopathic character. For anybody who doesn't know what a Sociopath is basically a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience.

These RP identities manifest as bandits or druggies who don't do drugs now but are fried from before the apocalypse.

This love stems from something I have come to realize about myself. A friend once asked me "What do you honestly think you would do to survive a zombie apocalypse"

The answer quite simply is become a semi-suicidal sociopath.

In fact in Real Life right now if a criminal pointed a gun at me I would freeze in fear for a few seconds. But after this fear dissolved into reason I would get in the criminals face screaming that they kill me or I kill them.

When I play Pandahut now, I very much carry this attitude. The way I play is on the edge of my seat. I enjoy not knowing how I will react because this gives me a way to vent my emotions. I know I'm slightly crazy when a gun is put to my head, it's happened to me in real life before.

So because of the way I play I very often play as a version of myself. I run around with a slightly insane voice talking and interacting as if the situation was real. Quite frankly if the situation was real I would lean into the barrel of a gun rather than bend over and let them rob me, I'm just not that submissive.

So this rule being so strict is going to damage a small but fun part of my gaming experience on the Pandahut servers.

I motion that the rule be changed in some way. A few basic ways would be restricting this to certain roles or allowing players to choose but not change their minds. If a player chooses to play like I do then they can't act afraid to lose their loot and vice versa.

This rule doesn't need some super complicated change to help I'm just saying it's restricting what I see as the best part of my gameplay. What does a bandit care if I get in his face when being robbed? They get to kill me and get my loot quicker.

Either way I do generally agree with this rule I just think it could be a little less strict. Thank you for your time and please consider.

The rule simply tries to have players RP more, if in-game you act this way. The rule has no problem against it lol. The rule is simply trying to combat the fact that people do not "value" their lives in an "RP manner".
If you RP as the sociopath you claim to rp as then, by all means, make that evident as you rp. If you were to be in a mod situation that pertains to this rule, your expressed past behaviour (sociopath-like rp) would make it obvious that you just want to be that criminal.

But if you die, continue the RP, you Just died. Face the consequences of death. Don't go straigt for who killed you, or the area where you died.

Imagine your death to be a rebirth.
