Spec Ops Clothing is NOT Police Only

As you know on the RP servers, many people wear spec ops clothing simply because it looks cool. Today I was arrested for wearing spec ops clothing, even though EVERYONE does it. And I don't believe it is on the rules that it is strictly for SWAT. So I was just wanted to clarify that Spec Ops clothing isn't police only and that I shouldn't be arrested for it

Its police/swat impersonating, and you can be arrested.
It states in the rules that its allowed.

Except for the fact that the spec ops uniform isn't police gear, its military gear. And there's no laws against simply wearing military gear in the US, as long as it's not to gain monetary or property benefits.

Canada on the other hand, it is illegal to impersonate military personnel, so on 13 they can be arrested for it. But not on 10, since they're in different countries, with different laws.

Anything that is proveable, and illegal in real life is enforceable by arrest; within reason. (Stealing cars, Selling weapons outside of a shop or non-weaponsmith, etc, etc)

That is a copy paste from the rules. As it says, this does show that impersonating Police would be illegal, however, Spec-ops might be another story. My personal opinion (This is not fact nor is it a set in stone rule, this is just what I think it should be) is that Spec-ops clothing should NOT be illegal. However, I will ask Juan and Rag and see what they have to say on the matter, and it may also end up getting clarified in the rules.

I think it'd be amusing if it was actually considered a military uniform on PEI, because that means cops would be arrested left and right, since they're not military personnel.

SWAT = Police Rank (Above a normal Police Officer but below a Police Chief "Rank Wise") SWAT Kit = Spec Ops Gear (And I s the only kit to get Spec Ops) as far as I am aware. And also the Police Chief+ kits give Coalition Gear which is also arrestable because literally you need to of killed a Police Chief+, so if Police Chief is impersonation then SWAT is clearly impersonation as well. Up to others to properly implement it.

Spec ops is a part of swat gear and swat are police so there for if found in spec ops they should be arrested and dealt with.
