Avoid them in the first place, what's the point in fighting the zombie if you know that its going to make you bleed out. Extra to the last point when you usually go into towns with no gear the first thing you look for is a weapon to defend yourself.

Elaborate to me what this last point you stated means. Thanks for the feedback though guys.
