I tend to agree that we accept too many people. I think if a mod is found to have lied about their age, permanently bann them from the mod team until they're of age?

Also, when I give a + or a - it is a question of whether I'd put my name behind theirs. Would I stake my reputation on them... And then answer with most is a clear and simple no. They either haven't shown me that they respect the process and our team, or they haven't shown the maturity necessary to handle hostile players. You might be able to handle a player who is compliant but can you handle someone lying through their teeth and doing everything they can to bring you down? We have had a bunch of those even since I came to this community and frankly, I don't think many of our mods know how to handle those situations. If you can't handle it, if you can't keep your cool, you're not ready to moderate an RP server.

Unfortunately we have had cases where staff members have lied about their age.
Two of which have been previously demoted for issues unrelated to age, both of which have been mentioned already in this topic.
However, another underage one, is one of the best damned mods I've ever seen, and HE'S ONLY 12!
It all depends, in my eyes, on how the moderator actually acts.

Moderators don't get chosen ''just like that'' they get promoted from their background and depending on how helpful they are and if they're bothering to show respect with their application (instead of making a two words app), yes mods get accepted quickly after like 5-6 days after applying (only if the OP is good) because this is an rp server, we can't afford having a low amount of staff on, and those who mess up get demoted, simple as that. But it's not something like anybody that wants to apply will get mod, no. There's loads of declined apps for good reasons. If you really had an issue with how staff are picked or whatever you could've just msged me about it, and if you got a problem with a staff member report him. No need to make a topic saying ''it's not made to disrespect'' although clearly it is. Because you're not calling any names in particular, just insulting the entire staff team without having any valid evidence of backing you up, topic locked.
