How can I raid bases do i need explosives?

I've tried to break wooden walls and things but it doesn't work what do i need to do to raid bases? :|

Which Server are you trying to raid on?
As far as I know, chainsaw's work, but that could be very old info seeing as I haven't Raided with one in a long time. I'd think high power weapons can break in still, grizzly's and such. Grenades should surely get you in.

When i try to break something with a chainsaw it doesn't show the hit marker indicating that it's working.

If you have a balance you can buy grenades.
The reason I asked which server you were playing on was because if it's the RP server, there were rules to how to raid. But any of the other Pandahut Servers, you can just bomb away.
