I was playing on one of your servers and I got banned for killing someone, the thing was I was my brother took the keyboard and killed someone, I didn't take their items to be fair, accepted their teleport request, but still got banned even though I apologized. I wasn't going to kill someone anyways, my goal in the game is to trade and be a merchant, only return fire. Though it's a strictly rp server, which I'm fine with, why isn't it a PvE instead of a PvP (Not complaining just wondering why)

It is PVP because a PVE environment would render most roles useless or at least not as effective since a player couldn't kill another player, also there no zombies so all you could do is roam around looting and hunting for airdrops.
Also for future reference even if you do think a ban was falsely justified use the ban appeal section as it makes it easier for both you and staff.
