Bit of a newbie player, but yesterday, I had built a base, partially birch and partially metal. I came back this morning, around 8:30AM to check on my base, and to my dismay, it was gone.

So I looked around online and found out admins can change times for despawning bases, and that's probably what happened to my base.

Now I have a request:
Could the despawning of bases take just a while longer, so I don't lose my items overnight again? And if not, is there anything I have to do to prevent it from happening?

Russia is PVP I’m fairly sure, so your base probably got raided

It wouldn't make sense, my friend's bedroll and cagelights were still there. If they had used explosives, wouldn't they be gone as well?

Or they could have just simply bought a dragonfang and shot it out.

Base decay doesn't happen *that* fast on PVP or RP.

Alright, that's a fair argument. However, when I went to my heli, the metal plates on there were also missing, yet the heli had taken no damage, and of course, was still there.

I believe it was the despawn timer

Decay on PvP is 7 days, More likely than not someone in your group removed YOUR items, or someone raided your bases and removed your stuff.
