Greetings, as per what mushy has said:

If any player that is not a cop starts speeding, all cops are alerted about it with the driver's name and vehicle description. An arrest warrant with a cooldown of a few minutes could be put on the driver, but it'd up to the cops to capture the suspect. It sounds kinda drastic for a simple speeding ticket but it could be fun.

That pretty much sums up what the plugin would do, we'd perhaps allow the person to be warned first for speeding and be given a fine whilst in the 2nd situation he could be arrested or whatever you guys suggest, this topic was made in order for you guys to vote if you'd like a speeding plugin to be set up in the RP servers, it's all completely up to you guys so start voting!

+1, however if they are speeding they probably won't stop for the cops in the first place and if (pretty much always) a player is speeding the chat could become slightly clogged with multiple people driving over the speed limit. Either way it's a great idea but it could be used for police baiting aswell...

That's where the judge Role will also come in, if they won't stop they'll get a long jail time by the judge and also be fined, so it'd be for the best if they did. As for the spam it would only announce in the radio chat.

+1 would make a big difference to Police roles and overall police patrolling as when we pull people over for reckless driving we just type in world chat Ticket Playersname : 500 bamboo and give him 3 chances to reply if not we arrest him.

Suggestion : Do not let SWAT team use this plugin only RCMP and Police as IRL we don't see SWAT team going around giving out speed tickets.

This plugin entails awarding speeding tickets to players that travel too fast on land vehicles. The plugin is finished and ready to be added to the servers if you all agree to it. It works the following way:

• Moderators can now use /bandriver and /unbandriver as opposed to /restrictdriver and /removedriver
• An optional driver ban timer (in seconds) was added after the command: /bandriver Miku 60: Bans Miku for 60 seconds.
  • As soon as a non-police player goes above the set speed limit:
    • Upon being banned from driving, the driver receives the message: "The police have been notified of your traffic violations. Look out!"
    • All police radio enabled roles are notified, for example: "[DISPATCH]: Miku was caught speeding in a a Black Roadster! Ticket valid for 120 seconds!"
  • If a ban time is not entered after the player name, the player will be banned from entering vehicles until they're unbanned or if the server restarts
• All staff on duty will not be reported to authorities for speeding.
• If you are going above the map's speed limit, a traffic ticket warrant is issued against you
• Speed limit can be changed via config without restarting the server
• Traffic warrants expire after a few minutes. Their expiry time can be changed without restarting the server

Omfg this is so fucking good. Gonna make RP so much better now.

So is the server is going to be wiped when the plug-in is added?
