Alright before you grab your pitchforks listen.
This is for a friend who wants to ask this but speaks little English.

He wants to know if Slavery can be a thing on the server. The slavery won't be racial, it'll just be stealing a player (Or a friend mind you) from the game and forcing them to work for you.

Is this allowed?

I just want to know why the hell would someone become a slave?

Idk? My friend likes the idea.

And that's just it. It could be forced unless the police find you and force you to free them.
It's basically an different type of hostage.

It's more like he wants to know if this is allowed.

Not so much of a new type of rule so much as something to do with your hostage while waiting for the cops.

Like with a kidnapping I understand but I doubt it'd work with anything else. Kidnapping is a slow business.

But yeah imagine. You steal somebody from the side of the street and force them into your car only to take them off, charge money, and in the mean time while you wait for that money make them help gather stuff.

Well what do you do if they don't comply to you? You cannot KOS them because they don't have to listen to you therefore you could roleplay your way out to hold him as a hostage although you wont be allowed to block him off in a building / kill him if he doesnt comply.

This just seems really pointless and dumb to me. The player you "stole" could just tp out, or log off the server, also, why would someone agree to be a slave? If you want someone to do something for you, just pay them.

I see a lot of people posing the argument "Why would anybody agree to be a slave?"

Quite frankly the idea perplexed me too until a week ago on a different server (Not naming it)
A little European kid was running around with a black character, red plaid shirt, and trouser shorts. He offered openly to be our slave and for a full hour of game play ran around calling us master and doing whatever we asked.

Why. Idfk but is was funny as hell if not a little racist.
There are people who do stupid things in RP just to freshen it up a bit. A dude with a perfect zombie skin offered to be my pet zombie on pandahut #13. Why? idfk he just wanted it so I let him be my extra backpack for half an hour.

Different people RP differently. Somebody would enjoy this.
