[Game master]

I am bored, and when I get bored I find people and things to talk to and talk about. So let me start a small discussion about Skyrim. If any fans of Skyrim have any sort of knowledge about the lore of the game that is not common knowledge, go ahead and post it here. If anybody wants to share their theories, go ahead and do it here. This is a pointless topic meant to entertain and pass knowledge around to die hard fans.

[Game master]

To start this off let me start at the very beginning of the game. Your characters sorta wakes up in a cart being escorted by Emperials. Sitting around you are three men, the first is Ralof who is the first to speak to you. The second is a horse thief who speaks second. Lastly is Jarl Ulfric Stormcloak, who doesn't speak until you escape and meet him at his castle.

While in the cart it is made known that you are being taken to your execution and none of the four of you will escape alive if the emperials have their way. The horse thief freaks out and starts praying. One of the Gods the horse thief prays to is Akatosh, creator of dragons and father of Alduin. Shortly after the prayer the thief tries to run and is shot down, shortly after that Alduin himself lands on the tallest spire and sacks Helgin right before the Dragon Born (You) is executed.

Now Akatosh created Alduin. Shortly after prayer is offered to Akatosh, Alduin the world eater shows up and accidentally frees the Dragon Born.

This may be a mere coincidence but it is a large one and a theory I personally support.



This is just a theory to give an example. So have at it.
