I walked out onto the road in front of a stopped car. I was almost to the curb when it sped up and ran me over. While all this was happening CodMedian, the new admin, stood there watching the whole server loot my body. He teleported me back and said, "you were in the middle of the road, sorry" while some other players were running away freaking out and enjoying their new loot. Is this a bunch of crap or not?

There are a few things at play here. First off, you were in the road.

Second, LAGGGGGGGGGGG. Seriously though... LAG. Stuff as it happens on YOUR screen may not be how it looks to everyone else. You may have appeared to be dead center of the road to all parties involved. You may have appeared to have been already on the sidewalk to the driver and the kill was entirely lag based. You can never QUITE know for sure. I've banned folks for stopping their car to let people cross, getting impatient and then running them down before, but I am not nearly as nice as CodMedians is as far as I know.

Also, we're all volunteers. We do this for fun, and we're not professionals. We try and maintain a certain level of professionalism but we DO screw up on occasion.

On behalf of our team, I'm sorry that you've had a bad experience, but don't let it discourage you from jumping back on and having some good fun.
