So I have been playing as weaponsmith these past few days to get a bit more cash (earned 20k good enough for me!) and I have been trying to sell weapons and ammo I find in airdrops. But whenever I try to sell scalar ammo or ranger ammo, as well military ammo, and a lot of other things. It says "the shop is not buying ranger mag right now" Is that random or am I just being restricted to selling items? Because the weaponsmith can "buy and sell all weapons ammunition, and attachments." So why is the role restricted?

As far as i know you can not sell ammo

Maybe that is my VIP+, which is restricted, I'll have another look at the role description.

The only kind of ammo you can sell is the special one (excluding the explosive arrow) such as rails. Rockets, missiles. Blah blah blah but the common ammo can't be sold. Idk the reason of why you can't but if i had to guess i would say that because the common ammo is too easy to get

Yeah makes sense. But still, the description lied to me!

Selling ammo has a glitch associated with it that allows you to make infinite bamboo, so we had to disable it.

We'll update the role description to reflect reality.
