Robing a player while he is in the vault interface is wrong. You cant read chat. You dont know how long between each warning. And camping the vault waiting for players to go into the interface is loop hole abuse imo.

When in a hostage situation the police officers have to type the /rescue command . Once rescue is announced the Kidnapper is KoS to the police officer(s) which announce, and the Police officers who have announced are KoS to the kidnapper(s). That is a rule. Nowhere does it say that ONLY Police Officers can rescue people; it only says that they have to type the /rescue command to rescue someone.

Apex, if you're in the vault interface for 40 seconds, there's nothing we can do. It's perfectly normal
Scroffel, It says that "you have to type the /rescue command to rescue people" because police and swat are the only people who can actually do the /rescue command.

The Police Officers have to type the /rescue command. What are you referring to?
EDIT: And please quote it.

What Bat means is that /rescue is only useable by police and swat roles. If you did /rescue as another role, it would not allow you to execute it.

Yes, but it doesn't say you have to use the /rescue command to defend against a kidnap. It says police have to. That means using this is a loophole as it is not what was meant nor intended to mean. Although it is a loophole, the real rule is stupid and smart in some ways.

It doesn’t have to be a rule. People have been using common sense. If police are the only ones that can use the command, then police are the only ones that can rescue. If no other role can use the command to rescue, then obviously they can’t rescue. Commands make it easier for staff to moderate and for players to know what is going on. This is a game, it is impossible for us to make it exactly like real life. Without the rules page, we don’t have RP.

Very, very true. Yet, you don't rely on common sense. You can use common sense all you want and it will get you nowhere. They have these things in the real world called "lawyers." Even if you are guilty, they can defend you. They have to base everything off of proof and laws, and sure, maybe a little bit of common sense. You have to take everything in the law as literally, or else its exploited. Thats why there are so many laws, and yet, there are still loopholes.

If we had to write down
every single rule so that common sense wouldn’t have to be excersized at all when roleplaying, then our rules page would be absurdly long. Many aspects of RP require players to use common sense.

Specific rules you find loopholes in may be pmed to me? But as stated above, we won’t make the rule page 9999999 pages long.
