When you do /job fisherman you can't move from the spot in the middle of a lake and when you do fish you can't do anything with the fish cause you can only sell cooked fish. And you don't keep the upgraded rod when you leave the job it disappears.
Not moving from middle of lake is impossible (Freeze command broke) and will not be done. Fisherman rn can at least have a fish market/farmers market.

Also, not keeping the upgraded rod would just cause problems, people would try every glitch possible to keep it. If we do make MVP+ fisherman, we will just give them items they can keep, not ones that we've gotta take away.
He's uh talking about the current job plugin that is on the RP servers, firstly you need to add a generator on top of the fisherman building (can be found by doing /job fisherman) and set up a unlimitedgenerator region and then fix the coordinates in the jobs plugin config to the right coords so people can move freely around but not too freely (dont allow them to get past the ramps else they'll swim away and drop the fishing rods to then come back and pick them up) that should fix all of mercy's reports

Also, that'd make fisherman a pretty boring role, all you could do is get fish and sell them. No RP involved. I think it'd be a lot more fun if fisherman actually had freedom to fish where they want and such. Restricting Fisherman's freedom just so they could use an upgraded fishing poll seems silly.
If you want to just fish and get money, go to any pvp server.

Theres a certain roleplaying aspect to run after someone while throwing your fishing rod at them, all the while screaming "Oni-chan, come back to daddy oni-chan" into your mic

Well the point of the fisherman job was to replace the zombies, as doing /job fisherman allows you to sell the fish there for more than you usually can sell it in the uconomy shop, so people can replace the zombies with that system to gain bamboo and XP whilst also being given a safe spot (away from robberies and raids etc.) to gain some bamboo and XP; the point of it wasnt to get the rod. Plus they still have the freedom to fish but also have the option to use the job system for better gain, and no if you spawn them at the right place and set the correct radius for them to be able to move around it will be 100% impossible to get out of the building, the radius I used was 11 and nobody could get out of the building. Plus the job system doesnt have to be used for fishing only, lumberjack areas can be set up, blacksmith areas and so on.

The Jobs plugin was removed due it to causing player location errors since the last Unturned update.
