Okay. MVP+ Chef, Builder, salesman, CEO etc are all donor ranks but they don't come with guns. Why? They don't need them! Builders don't need guns neither do judges or lawyers. Also me saying they shouldn't have guns isn't saying give police bad weapons and bandits good weapons lmao.

Agreed. There is absolutely no Roleplay (nor real-life) scenario where a lawyer would need to carry a weapon, let alone use one. It sounds perfectly logical that police should have access to weapons, whereas highly educated white-collar roles such as lawyers and judges should not. It's 100% nonsensical.

I dont know if anyone said this (because I'm lazy to read all the comments) but we could have an appointment system for judges similar to the mayor role. Maybe Each roleplay server could have their own set of judges to hold trials for dangerous criminals within each respective server. Overall, like I mentioned in the other post awhile ago, its not a bad idea and Il love to be one! (im sick of being captain xD)

Edit: This role should be only for higher up ranks? such as deputy+? It definitely wont be effective with cop newbies as judges.

Sorry im a bit late to the train, but here's your old dude from 2015 here about pandahut.
Back then, the lawyer role was an actual thing. IF you got arrested while a lawyer was on, you'd pay them 100 or something, they talk to the police, and they will let you out guaranteed if the lawyers knows his shit. The Judge role was going to be added, but Dutchy was the only person who got it. It didn't work out. They removed the lawyer role in (im pretty sure) 2016, and replaced it with CEO. Sadly, i cannot get evidence of the quote posted by Queenie <3 (OLD head rp admin) saying that YOU CAN BECOME CEO! CONTROL PEI! It honestly was only fun when it first started, cause every company wanted a CEO to make them some mons. Nowadays, you only ask for a ceo if you want decorating shit

Hey guys,

We've started work on the Lawyer and Judge additions. We tested an "arrest -> charge -> lawyer-up -> court-case -> found guilty/case dismissed" scenario. You can see find the screenshots below. You may click the images to see them in their original size.

After arresting the suspect, I proceed to charge her so the case can be settled in court.
Note: The /cases command is also shown here. It will be used by judges to view pending court cases amongst online players.

Miku is sentenced by the court with an example punishment (There was a small error where it says "Miku has been sentenced by Miku". It has already been fixed

A case can also be dismissed by the Judge if the defendant is found not guilty or the Lawyer wins the case

• The Lawyer and Judge commands are mostly finished, with a few tweaks and adjustments still to be done.
• All court cases are stored in the database so they don't disappear when the server restarts.
• The criminal record command will eventually show previous arrests and lost court battles for a specified player.
• The /kidnap assist bug should now be fixed.
• Admins randomly joining on duty, off-god mode has been fixed.
• The changes above should be effective soon. We must still make changes to the RP page as well.

To follow up on my comment, we should have server elected judges like how mayors are elected, and the lawyer role could be mvp+ or something like that.

IMO, lawyer should replace Uber driver. It seems to me as one of the least played roles, and since we have /tpa it is basically useless.
