There are a lot of arrests made lol. That part is wrong, but I understand where you are coming from. Applying of Forums is too difficult, so I think it should exist for MVP or higher, but it needs some benefit. The Lawyer should get paid every 30 minutes (like paid roles) (is 1000 good per hour?) and the Lawyer should be paid to lower the time limit (if wanted) by the person who is arrested. A lawyer can’t interfear in a Modsit as a lawyer role. The Lawyer should also be able to buy the Ghost (fits style) and clothing should be Suit top/bottom.

Another Idea for Lawyer is allowing for them to not get arrested by the Police. This adds he need for a police DA (District Attorney) to challenge the Lawyer. The DA should be applied for and given to the person by an admin or SuperMod. DA is the same as Lawyer, except with a different name tag and can do something like /court (or challenge) <Defense Lawyer> <Suspect> . A Judge would decide a guilty verdict at the Courthouse (Which if this role goes through, make closer to Alberton or in Alberton). If the Suspect is guilty, new bail is given by Judge and jail time the same. Same Officers who arrested must attend the Court Hearing. If the Lawyer and Suspect don’t go to the Courthouse, the Suspect is given a legal Kill Warrant by an Active Captain. It is up to the Cops to bring the Suspect to the court. If just he Lawyer doesn’t show in (let’s say 5 minutes) then the Suspect goes back into Police Hands and can’t go to court again until the next arrest.

A Lawyer can call a Trial for someone every 10-15 minutes. This is the average time separation between Arrests when Police are on.

If the DA doesn’t go through, a Lawyer can be able to challenge another lawyer, only if they are trying to make the suspect guilty, or its Fail RP.

1.) I don't think lawyers should only be paid by the people hiring them to help but it might be useful for times where the citizen(s) get a lawyer appointed to them (if that happens)

2.) I think that would get to complex and would go against having someone above the law

3.) There is no need for this as I can imagine court cases becoming quite lengthy / lots of arrests happening and could easily cause cases to go back to back.

Making it so that lawyers can't be arrested is literally the most retarded idea I've ever heard. They're not fucking exempt. And adding district attorney and shit like that will just make it confusing. It should be that lawyer is just a role that you get instead of Uber driver when you buy VIP, judge can be applied for by chiefs. Lawyers abide by the same rules as civilians, so do judges.

I never said Lawyers are exempt. If I did, I probably meant Suspects. And besides, remove the DA part then, I think it works.

A court case would last the same or less than a modsit. Each lawyer presents a claim that can be said in 1-3 world/area chat codes and the Judge discuses a verdict based on that. If the Defense Lawyer wins, then the Judge decides if he’s released or a smaller bail. (Judges will make this fair).

Also, a Lawyer should be paid by either the server or by three person they are backing up.
