I believe that police deputys should have the ability to call police raids. Its sounds like a bad idea, but i have reasons.
1.Creates more action and tension
Currently I feel that the police on 10 are underpowered because the many experienced cops quit or became not as active. Us cops will then have more of a responsibility to carry if these raid permissions were given. For example, I.found some drugs in seattle (not gonna say anything since it can be still police raided) but i could not do anything. Most captains are like on in the morning, and none on at night when i usually play. If this could be added those drugs growing would have been gone by now.
2.Stop the drug and illegal flow
When us higher rank officers are kiaed(killed in action), our uniforms will be taken by the citizens, and spread into the economy. I want to try to prevent that spread. By giving deputys raid permissions, and if we see any in bases selling or something like that, we could retrieve that set back. I have seen many people selling coalition in mannequins, but i cant do anything about it or retrieve the set back. This goes for drugs as well. If we depend on the captains to come on and raid, it would be too late by then (8 hours is a long time).
I know you would be thinking about what use would have captains have then. I got an new idea that would spice some things up. Captains could call city lockdowns if too many illegal crimes are performed. All "criminalistic" roles would be taken into suspect and are arrested without the command be arrested. If any do not comply and start a fight, it could add a new element, city wide riots that people can be kosed. Then there would be alot more pressure on both fighting groups: law and crime. I was thinking that raiding is not allowed during a city lockdown. Also, riots SHOULD be only called by gang leaders, not by raandom no rank bandits.
What are the cons, you may ask? The Deputy rank should be a lot harder to get if this is implemented. As raiding is a big responsibility, we dont want deputies abusing their power. I say that mods can help monitor police raids and what the deputy calls out. If the deputy does anything illegal, his rank would be temporarily stripped until the captains decide what to do with him.
