whitelisting police

Hi pandahut community..another suggestion from a veteran player & 4 time mayor..
In my opinion police should be whitelisted for the following reasons:
Police will be more organized and more centralised to control
Mayor of the time will be head of this police force and will run it according to his/her wishes
A lot of police are trolly & corrupt and the whitelist will reduce it
This will make police a 'special' role and make the role prestigous once again
The whitelist should be an application form similar to the ones for the existing police groups e.g. PSD, RPPD and possibly even a teamspeak interview for higher ranks with the mayor and some moderators. The mayor may also have the additional power of a veto in certain circumstances
This would improve PH & RP!

We also need to remove italics cause if this reason :) anyways, +1 I thought this the first day I became moderator.

I Played a couple servers where this was a thing on Arma and it made it a lot more smooth, The police knew what they were doing and it wasn't hectic.

+0 mixed feelings about this, I agree that this will me much more controlled, and overrall better for the server. While at the same time taking a lot of the fun out of it.

Most players wouldn't have a fun time playing. The most popular roles are Police and Bandit so whitelisting police will mostly upset new players.

+1 It could be made an easy application so that you still have lots of police, but it would mean they wouldn't be brand new players becoming police. This would make it more rp like. It would also get people to play the other roles

I would like to get this implemented.. Since 9 / 10 cops just say: "PUT YOUR HANDS UP NOW OR I SHOOT"
But... Almost everyone is a bandit or a police officer so I don't think that this is a great idea. The new players would be sad..
In some RP servers you have almost every rank whitelisted. Just because the moderators are always online to see who fit in one of the roles. Personally I would like my idea to be implemented but our staff team is not online 24/7. So I think we keep the current ranking system.
PS. In a military roleplay server where I play often with Federix you have to join a group, put a prefix,... and then a staff member will add your role. If you are a active player you will get promoted :) If you have active staff it works out really well!
