Y'all heard how Everyone wants mods back on 13, yet the admins and mods say It won't happen due to the lag they cause... I got a Idea If we were to add mods back for a Small Timeframe (Like a week) and Test to see What the community has to say If there's too much lag, Very Little, or None at all. Yes this may be a Bad Idea but I think it may work...

They never lagged me, in fact, my game got more laggy after they were removed.

Bring back mods please. I just want a police car that doesn't fucking suck.

Oh and the sheriff uniform was fucking lit.

None of the mods added crucial parts to rp and tye only mod I saw being used often was the Stars Police one. Also, during the entire time there were mods on the server you could consistently see that PEI RP had less players than the Washington RP due to having mods turned off in their search bar options. Now they have evened out. I would think this would be another reason for the removal of mods besides lag. If we added the same mods back I’m almost certain this will happen again.

-1 mods didnt add much rp options other than a few extra vehicles which are basically already in the game. Plus we dont need to add them back again for a little time frame to "test" cause it will just be the same as it was before... seems useless

I think that some of the mods were good, like the Sheriff and Drugs, but I think threat the rest were useless. I mean, these mods were the most popular so why not use them?

The mods reduce the player count. That’s why.

+1 Mods add more interesting situations. For example a car chase you could police barricade. Besides that there are things like Drugs besides Berries which makes more sense and also is more easy for new players. A lot of new players don't actually know berries are illegal till they are arrested. Mods would make Decorator role/Armorsmith role more useful with my 200-300 Hours in RP i hardly see these roles due to not much use. Even expert is a little pointless only if you want sticky grenades (never used) or Smoke grenades (Spamming these causes lag which as an admin told me is bannable trying to create lag) Not much point in those unless you are Sp00ks and throw 70 them at once. The role is overall useless and these could be changed with just some mods (Not a ton). Maybe some cool interesting guns like silenced pistols. Don't need anything large/spammable like flares or nukes. Weapons arent a big difference xD. My main point is Modded Clothes would make armorsmith a more useful role and Modded items for furniture would make Decorator more useful. On 13 right now we have 7+ MASSIVE bases that are basicly empty and pointless. This would make decorating more fun and these bases wouldn't be insanely big for actually no reason. I'm not sure how clothes would actually make the server lag xD. My whole point in this is add some decent mods like clothes, drugs, police barricades, etc. Stuff along those lines not every mod there is just some interesting ones. I'm sure we can all agree armorsmith is useless. If you are MVP/MVP+ You get an alicepack every kit almost. You can find alicepacks easily around the map and other ways. The only reason for a armorsmith nowadays is Alicepack and as i said you can get it fast and so easily. On that note i heard Staff will not add mods back right now that it was a firm no.

I will be blunt.
A 1 week "test" period would not work.
It takes >1 week from reset for mods to kick in.

The Sherrif and SWAT vests where OP, and lead to mass impersonation.
The things literally let you carry two miniguns, with extra space.

Spikestrips where buggy, and often placed to troll. I support police barricades, personally, because they give police an option other than shooting tires out, and help mark out police raids.

Flare guns where a brilliant idea (I would love to see them being given an exemption from drawing weapons in a robbery, to add a level of urgency to them) but where spammed to all hell. This brings me to my next point...

Lighting. Lighting is arguably the largest source of problems, both from FPS and server-side issues.
I've run a number of experiments, and consistently found that lighting objects are more detrimental than anything else.
I feel that we could get mods back, but we'd need to establish rules on lighting objects.
