Should bases have more health?

So, a while ago Fuzzy made a topic about his base getting continuously raided and the raiders weren't destroying only the lockers and such, but were also tearing apart the base itself just for the sake of it. Now, a while ago I suggested that we make raid cooldowns longer.Since one bigger group of bandits could just log on and raid multiple bases, this is a roleplay server, bandits should think twice before raiding, taking into account the amount of loot the base has, instead of simply assuming they'll get to kill people. But raiding clears the server of lag, therefore raids are still necessary.
Instead of making cooldowns longer, we could make it so structures have more health, raids would require more money, raiders would have to look for houses with loot, and, they wouldn't tear the whole base apart.
We can't exaggerate with structures health either though, because in order to claim a pre-built building you need to clear the whole place, and so I thought it could be 2x health or 3x health at most.I thought about the possibility of it being abused aswell, raiders could act as if they're still trying to break down the base in order to make the raids last longer, but then again they can do the same thing now, they just shoot the whole place down.
What do you guys think? It just crossed my mind 10 minutes ago so I made a topic about it, why not? It could be a horrific failure but it's worth a shot!

huge 1+ a noob can literally find a dragon fang at a military base and falsely raid a well protected base

Uh - why not? Everyone raiding has to do commands to start and stop raiding, so couldn't that be used to give them a temporary "raiding" roll (that removesitself on /raidover) which dissalows use of building items?

You're shutting down an idea and arguments without actually addressing or responding to them.
