Make New Players Read The Rules

I think a good way to prevent new players from kosing and to help them understand the rules would be to automatically send them a link to the rules when they first join and make it so they have to click the link before they are allowed to play.

I don't think you can actually force people to read the rules in order to play on a server.

Well at least have the link to it come up when they join.

It already does that to new players

It already does this, and staff members can use a command to force the link to pop up

Give all new players a "new" role.
Automatically for players with the "new" role, TP them to a TP box and cuff them every 90 seconds.
In the TP box: Signs welcoming the player to pandahut, explaining how to get to the rules, link, /rules, etc and explaining they MUST read the rules to join
4/5ths of the way through the RP rules: A command to remove the "new" role, and allow them to choose roles.

Considering how 80-90% of players are banned before reaching 3 hours of playtime, this is completely necessary.

I'm not sure how accurate that statistic is, but I agree with something like that where new players are required to read the rules.

Having spent quite a while as a mod, I want to be clear: That stat was low-balling.
