Earlier, someone reported me on Discord for racism after I used the word "negro." I thought that saying it would be fine since it's not derogatory term, but clearly he did not think so. Even a few mods agreed with the guy and they told me not to use the word again. I was very shocked as negro literally means black. The "politically correct" term I usually hear people say is "African-American" which in my opinion would be more offensive (unless they were actually born in Africa, then it would make sense). You don't hear anyone call whites "British-Americans" do you? I even replaced "negros" with "whites" in the same message saying it in chat and no one seemed to mind except for the same guy who reported me last time. I have been banned before for racism when I said "nig" in chat. I was also very surprised by this as you can see in my super serious ban appeal which was unrightfully declined: https://pandahut.net/forums/viewtopic.p ... ks#p113301 . To avoid confusion and little kids yelling "racism" in the chat, I think it would be a good idea to add a list of all the banned words/phrases to the rules. While sections 1.4 and 1.4.5 in the rules touch upon this topic, they don't actually specify what would be considered racist leaving it up to interpretation.

I think there definitely needs to be a list of completely banned words. This would definitely clear up a lot of confusion

I feel this post is straight up ignorant to the fact your estonished about not being able to say “negro” or “nig”. Your just trying to get around it and act like your playing dumb, but in the end you know what terminology your going for when you say it. Also yes “Negro” means black and used to be a quote on quote acceptable term in 1750. This also was when white slave owners owned slaves calling them those Derogatory terms. Further more giving them a life of hell on the the plantation. Also in the early to mid 1900s people called African Americans (now free) those terms and discriminated against them. I just hate how your trying to embellish those words like they aren’t that big of a deal. Also if you truely feel sl steonngly about saying the work “Negro” go up to one of your African America friends, neighbors, or peers etc and tell me how they react to it. Would you really want to be discriminated like that? By ignorant people who have no idea what their talking about?

There is no need. Anyone with common sense would know that the use of more vulgar words on a game for younger children is not allowed. You need to stop testing moderators because it will not end well for you. We never needed a list of "banned words" in the 3 years of Pandahut.

That is a quote from MLK in his "I Have a Dream" speech. He must be a racist right? He said "negro" 4 times!

While saying "nigger" would be considered racist since it was designed as a derogatory term, "negro" would not as that is not it's intended use.
