How to Unprivatize your Steam Game Hours.
Unread postPosted:December 2nd, 2018, 5:40 pm
Huh. I'm surprised no one has made a guide on this yet. I guess I'll make it.
Back in April 2018, Steam updated its privacy settings to allow players to hide their steam game hours from their public profile. The problem with that is, when applying for staff or for certain in-game groups, the easiest way to check how active you are on the server is to look at your Unturned hours. So, if someone tells you to unprivatize your Steam hours, this is what you do.
1. Sign in to Steam. (if you haven't done so already)
2. Go to your Steam Profile.
3. Click "Edit Profile".
4. Click "My Privacy Settings".
5. Set your "Game Details" to "Public".
6. Uncheck "Always keep my total playtime private even if users can see my game details".
7. That's it. Steam should save your settings automatically.
If you still don't get what I am talking about, attached are the instructions in pictoral form. [EDIT: Can't attach unfortunately, so I'll just add them here.]
Step 3

Step 4

Step 5 & 6

The desired result

Good luck!
