Hello
So what sucks more then seeing a new to pandahut player as a cop going up to people saying "let me see your licenses and do not pull a gun" then you know it's not a arrest and pull a gun and get kosed. As well maybe they do know how to arrest yet don't know the laws, like someone parks all the way on the side walk and arrest, ect.

So I think cops should have a small end white listing. So basicly they have to prove they know laws and how to arrest properly. Then full mods+ and higher ranked police can accepted them if they show they understand laws and arresting. Then full mod+ has a command "/policerank <username>" or "/police+ <username>" which removes their current rank and makes them police/rcmp

I agree more with Woxi, the issue with it is. People don't want to have to go through the trouble of doing something they don't have to just to pick a role, and they will just pick a different role. With that being said, if you go with the "reason" you provide, the same can be said about bandit. People pick the role and false rob, that's why the ban system for "false rob" and "false arrest" are there.

Yes but then come to the issue, we don't have staff on or just the overall fact we could prevent this ban happening with this system.

Or how about when you do /role rcmp It gives you a link to a test of The rules and laws?
That could work to just more or less it come down to how would it work with them proving they under stand because they could go and not read it and idk how a test passing would work. Unless wijth the test you put your I'd 64 and it changes it if you complete it correctly.

There is a way to prevent the ban, read the rules. That is WHY they are there, for NEW players to READ.

80% don't though that's the point. If we had player read the rules and laws before they started RPing then we would not have 1 hour bans for new players as well I would not have made this post because they would have read them and under stood them. You have to base this around the fact newer players don't feel the need to read rules.

The issue is people don't want to read them at the start, that is why the new player ban system is in place. If you make people read the rules when they join, they will most likely just leave.

Personally I think that proves the point exactly. Police and bandits seem to be one of the only roles that people have a thought they can kill. I'm just trying to say that. Im just attempting to keep things as clean as possible
