Considering how RCMP and police are already issued a brand-new kit of everything they need every hour, anything they buy is for themselves, out of their own pocket.

If RCMP had more money they could buy better guns and would be harder to corrupt so lower-rank police would be less of a corruptable cannon fodder.It's bad for the police so it's good for me. ;)

The mayor should be funding the police. The problem with PH is that you are expected to supply yourself as a cop. I was a solid player 1 year ago on 10 and I was police the whole way through. Back then I had around 900k now today I have 3k. Mayors need to get better at funding officers with empires tbh.

Back then I had around 900k now today I have 3k. Mayors need to get better at funding officers with empires tbh.

Honestly, no. Police are only expected to supply themselves if they are unable to survive for sixty minutes.
Police officers (no donor at all) get a kit literally every hour, which is less than one and a third in-game days.
If you're frustrated with being unable to afford kit, than be more serious with Fear RP, and remember that you can sell confiscated berries and explosives to the shop.
If you want to make it so non-donor cops can die more often safely, than that's a separate issue. In fact, I think I'll go make a sep. forum suggestion.
