WASHINGTON LAW BOOK - DEC 2017





Section 1 - Arresting/Ticketing/Kill warrents


1.0 General

It is reccomened that police/SWAT prioritize more severe crimes before less severe crimes if multible ones are going on.

If a citizen feels that a police officer is being corrupt or unjustly ticketing, arresting, or giving out kill warrents. They must obtain adaquit evidence (preferabley video.) Then they must make a post about the incident with the evidence included and leave it up for the public to decide if the officer/SWAT should be demoted. If over 50% vote yes for demoting the officer/SWAT, he/she will be demoted.

All officers are required to assist other police officers in the proximity of them unless if they are preoccupied with a more important task.

reccomended bail is 150 bamboo per minute (5 min is 750 bamboo) (10 min is 1500 bamboo) (15 min is 2250 bamboo) (20min is 3000 bamboo)

recommended that all sentances stay under 10 min unless if arrested for multible crimes.

bail ammount must be announced before time in jail has started or risk demotion.


1.1 Small crimes (ticket)

CRIME - RECOMMENDED PUNISHMENT - RECOMENDED TIME/AMMOUNT

jay-walking - ticket - 75 bamboo

jay-walking (prolonged period) - ticket - 125 bamboo

1 unlicenced weapon - ticket - 200 bamboo

2 unlicenced weapons - ticket - 350 bamboo

police impersonation (partial) - ticket - 300 bamboo

distubing the peace - ticket - 250 bamboo
(1.1.1 "disturbing the peace" includes situations such as rioting, shouting derogitory statments, etc..)

ingestion of glue or morphine - ticket - 250 bamboo

trespassing - ticket - 350 bamboo
(1.1.2 "trespassing" includes situations of players entering a structure with the owner telling them to get out)


1.2 Medium crimes (arrest)

failing to pay a ticket in 5 minutes - arrest - 3 minutes

2 small crimes - arrest - 4 minutes

3+ unlicenced guns - arrest - 4 minutes

police impersonation (full) - arrest - 6 minutes

possestion of berries - arrest - 3 minutes
(1.2.1 "berries" includes all berries, crushed berries, berrie pie's, and berry seeds)

ingestion of berries - arrest - 4 minutes

possestion of 5+ berries - arrest - 6 minutes

has robbed in past 5 minutes (no murder) - arrest - 8 minutes

has robbed in past 5 minutes (murder) - arrest - 10 minutes

has kiddnapped in past 5 minutes - arrest - 10 minutes


1.3 Large crimes (kill warrent)
(1.3.1 kill warrents are reccomended to be raised if multible offences)

has raided in past 5 minutes - kill warrent - 2000 bamboo

has done a hit - kill warrent - 2500 bamboo

has killed an officer during arrest - 2000 bamboo

has evaded arrest - 1000 bamboo

distribution / attempted distribuiton of berries - 2000 bamboo

planting / growing berries - 2000 bamboo

berries arent a kill warrant. Murder is. If they've raided in the past 5 minutes, the kill warrant shouldn't be legal unless they killed more than 2 people. 2 people or more should be a warrant, less than 2 being an arrest. I honestly do 100 bail per min, max being half an hour. Also, it is law that a ticket must be payed in "AN HOUR", not 5 minutes lol. 5 minutes is way too little time to farm all that money if you dont know how to get it.

thank you for feedback, some changes will include:

kill warrant for people who have raided a base and killed at least 1 defendant or officer in the past 5 minutes

recommended bail will be set to 100 bamboo per minute

tickets will have to be payed in 1 hour before being arrested

some changes that I wont make:

recommended sentence time will stay at 10 min as and longer will cause the player in jail to leave the server from boredom even though its bannable. only serious crimes will last longer (mainly for people with kill warrants who have surrendered)

growing berries will stay as a kill warrant but i will specify that it is for people who are mass producing them (10 berries or more growing.) everything under will count as an arrest.

changes will be made in official lawbook.

Even though its not really needed, i could argue that It prevents cdm and helps bring in more money for the city bank account.

Fix the blessed spelling.
Very basic laws; nothing too exciting at all. It’s blatantly obvious you did this in a hurry to con some citizens. The only reason you’ve Increased fines is so you can get more bamboo in your own wallet people can see through you orange.

You can’t arrest after 5 minutes if they don’t pay a ticket. The rules say one hour.

Also when you suggest kill warrants or arrests you need to make it clear that the officers have to witness this. They can’t just see it in chat.
