Bank Heist???

This could be implemented like the GTA5 Heists.
Multiple man Job, 5 Day Cool down. 50k Payout. You fail you loose youre gear,The Possible 50k,and get Detention for The X amount of men. It could be like the Raiding feature, /heistassist (name) the more men the Less Payout for the Bandits involved, the Pay is Cut between the People involved. During a Heist the Bank becomes a KOS zone like the Raid Zones, and if the Hostage doesnt comply they become a Fair Kill like the Robs,And for the abusing part there must be at least 4 RCMP on or the Command will not work and a 5 Day IRL cool down. As for the aftermath, the people involved (if caught) go to court, if they Kill any Police they get detained for 5 Minutes longer, and the normal Detention would be 20 Minutes, they also get Judged by the Judge, Jury (Random PSD members), and the Hired Lawyer (melon's role idea). As for where they are detained is the O'Leary Prison and For Washington would be a Normal Police station prison. If their plans goes well the 50k is cut between the X amount of People fairly and they go their separate ways. I hope my idea can help Mushy or Miku implement this into our RP Experience. -It would not be possible for the code to know whether or not you failed the bank heist and at which point. When you die you already lose your gear anyway, and I'm assuming cops wouldn't be arresting bank robbers, but killing them.
-Being detained for killing a cop would have to be done by police officers, not via code.
-What exactly would determine whether or not the heist is successful? In other words, what would be the event that triggers the plugin to award the payout to the bank robbers?

We may have 74 votes and tons of people shouting "I want this idea added", but it's easy to overlook its shortcomings and failure to address some of the most basic aspects of a the idea itself. This leaves me with the task of being the party pooper and telling you guys "Sorry, no can do until we get these issues sorted out".

Personally, this is the ruleset that I think would be good.
  • Bank heists are initiated with a /heist command. Assisters use /heistassist.
  • This command has a 5 day cooldown for everyone who assisted/started it.
  • The payout is 50k.
  • The robbery starts 30 seconds after the command is entered, to give people a chance to escape, but not to be so long that no one will be able to be held as a hostage.
  • Vaults are disabled during this time, so that the robbers can't go to their vault and grab out a gun for example.
  • There has to be 5 officers on. If more than 2 leave during the countdown, the robbery is cancelled, but with no cooldown to prevent trolling. Officers who do not go to the robbery may be demoted at the mayor's discretion.
  • The heist zone is 60m for the defenders, 60m for the robbers to kill uniformed officers, and a 30m zone where you can kill/restrain civilians.
  • The robbery will take 10 minutes. Robbers who die during the heist will not be awarded money. They can not come back to the bank, and if they are found to be doing so, they will be banned.
  • Officers can come back to the heist if they die.
  • After the heist is done, the robbers can all be kill warranted. If they surrender, they will be taken to court and sentenced for their crime.
  • The money is split between all surviving heisters. So if 4 people are robbing, the 50k will be 12.5k each. If one dies, the person who dies gets no money.
That's my idea. It could use some improving, but it is probably something that could be coded.

Although it'd need modifications based on the downsides that were brought up, but using the plugin above would remove a lot of the time needed to make this idea happen, although imo it's quite unnecessary based on the amount of work that'd be put into making sure that this cannot be abused due to a huge amount of possibilities to abusing this such as having friends pick police to fill up the min.PoliceRequiredToBeOn feature that would probably be needed, having to somehow force these cops to actually risk losing their loot to stop something that isn't affecting them, trying to ensure that people understand it and not just immediately start shouting kos everytime they pass by and die, and so on.. putting some time into this idea will make you realise how many things can be abused from a plugin like this with too much work,confusion,stress,nazi-germany plugin features forcing players to be stopped from doing certain things, etc. and little achievement.

Ragna brought up some very good points which you all should read and understand.

NeedlesssMemeing, your ruleset is comprehensive but it does not take into consideration the huge potential for abuse and technical aspects that make it an unfeasible addition.

This idea still needs a lot of work before we can start getting on its bandwagon. It's very much abusable and we cannot simply add this in with such massive flaws and abuse potential. It sounds good on paper, but we must consider every single aspect of it before even thinking about jumping aboard the "yes" or "+1" trains.
