Well, I would like to start off with pointing out that I’m just like many of you out there I’m just a civilian trying to have a good life in PEI. But help you see a little bit more clearly why voters should choose me over the other candidates I will be talking about some of their proposed plans and tell why they won't be needed or won't work on top what I think of think of those running.
Fishing:
Let me ask you do the people really need 7k spent on fishing lodge?!?
The fishing business has moved to countries such as China, America, and Japan ages ago. More importantly, when was the last time you saw a fisherman or should I say multiple fishermen actually using that as a way to make money. I do want to point out as someone who frequently goes on fishing trips in PEI that we already have more scenic spots to fish than a building that ruins the beautiful shores of PEI.
Homeless:
Moving on I’m interested when was the last time you had to use a homeless shelter in PEI?
The amount of time and energy and more importantly money does not compare to the benefit it provides. As I have mentioned in my plan times have changed our economy is prospering and very few amounts of people stay homeless.
PKGB:
Let’s move onto the next subject and that is how 50k is going to be spent on fighting the PKGB.
I believe PEI has more pressing issues than a group of outlaws from Washington who seem to have lost their way and maybe the crashed plane in West Burton could be where they all died?
With all this said Pedro, Momo, Geoff, Cherry are to be feared unlike their nonexistent counterpart the PKGB. One of our candidates knows first hand what they are capable of after being sent in near death conditions on numerous occasions when trying to stop a raid and even being kidnapped by them.
Privacy:
If Snuffy really cared about the citizen's rights as he mentioned while removing the protest laws, in which I do it in a manner which is a lot safer for the public, He would also realize how important privacy and wouldn’t be doing this. So all I want to say is choose a candidate who ever please choose a candidate who actually put a lot of thought into their plans and not just improvised on 2 of the law changes and added their own law (detrimental to citizens basic rights) and then adds communism their campaign slogan.
What I'm doing:
Now you see me criticizing all the ways the money is spent but may be wondering how will I make a better use of it. With a minimum of 57k, I could easily buy 142 portable generators, give it to the new business types, or even put that into savings for the future. I want to remind people more money spent is not always a good thing, it's about how well we spend the money that matters.
Other candidates:
Duke: He has been mayor for a long time but I believe he hasn’t been living the civilian life recently causing him to not really know what PEI really needs at the moment economically. If you are wondering what I mean then Just look above to fishing, homeless, and PKGB sections of this post.
Coco: As a person he is good but he never really said what he would do other than making a bunch of buildings so not much here to criticize other than the fact he seems to only want to build a bunch of buildings and nothing else.
Snuffy: Well most of the things I need to say has already been said in the PKGB and Privacy sections.
