How would you “spread the wealth”? I know what you mean by lowering unemployment, but if you give people jobs there won’t they be able to fix the cars themselves? How would this work?

I don't know if I understood this right, but even if they fix it themselves they would have received profit (adding to their wealth). If they do the job right and fast, the consumer will most likely come back to the same place for more work.

I don't know if I understood this right, but even if they fix it themselves they would have received profit (adding to their wealth). If they do the job right and fast, the consumer will most likely come back to the same place for more work.
