-1 will just add to confusion and make raiding a pain because snipers are never fun

If we did this we would need to in some way buff raiders. We gave y’all a LONGER defense radius than them
(They have 15 meters solo while you have 50.
They have 30 in duo+ while you have 50

They cannot kill outside that 30 UNLESS a uniformed person is within 50 meters)
How would we buff raiders in this case?

Honestly, I don't see the need to buff raiders in this situation. Of course, it's you and other admins' choices of what happens if this is implemented into the rules but if the defense radius is widened I feel it would equalise the two roles.
A defender's responsibility, whether it be a base's owner or a member of the police, is to stop the raiders immediately. A raider's responsibility is to get it done as fast as possible and (should) kill as little civilians as possible. Raiders have cover as they have two minutes to prepare and find cover, then break into the base to barricade themselves. Defenders are at a severe deficit here as the defense radius is only 50 metres wide. This means their options are limited; in a situation where a sniper would prove helpful, it is difficult because sniper rifles are not intended to be used at medium to close range. I don't see any disadvantage to the raiders; they can kill police that are shooting at them from 50 metres away, even if raiding solo. The more restricted radius implemented specifically for raiders was to combat the unnecessary killing of innocent people as their role in a raid should be to loot everything as soon as possible.
Another point that some have missed is the existence of a police sniper kit. I mean, it completely nullifies an area of the content that you donate real money for. I am an old player who used to use the police sniper kit to defend against raids (back when the radius was not introduced, I believe it was 100 metres then) and no problems arose for either parties; it was a fair raid.
If I can eventually think of a reasonable way to buff raiders I will suggest it in another reply or another thread but currently I see no need to do so. In my eyes, both defenders and raiders would be equal if the raiding defense radius was slightly increased.

The police sniper kit can be used to snipe kidnappers during a hostage situation.

Which leads me to my next question; why is there not a KOS limit to the kidnapper during a rescue but there is during a raid? According to the current rules, it is perfectly acceptable for a kidnapper to snipe a member of the police from any distance, and vice versa. I have never seen a hostage situation become unfair because of its unlimited defense radius, so why is this situation different? Why not make the police sniper kit useful during two of their active responsibilities?
I don't see the fuss around not increasing the defense radius. All it will do is allow the police to commit to their duty in another way, by the use of police snipers.
