+1 I fond the Moderators app a bit too easy to get through, and a quicker way to earn something that takes and need a lot of trust. I like you sayings.
Alright, so even though I know this will be taken as another server/staff hate or disrespect or some other bullshit like that, it's not.THIS
First issue is that the staff have bad communication among eachother. I'm not talking about one-two people having friendship or understanding. That's not communication, that's the pseudo-groups we have formed right now in the staff ranks, where two-three people heavily defend eachother and agree at eachothers' opinions, disregarding for whatever they may be. This causes dissent, intrigue and dirty tricks from one mod to another. We aren't all together one for all and all for one like we should be. This regards admins too.THIS
The other issue is the staff applications. That's just retarded af. To be more precise and detailed, people who are simply more friendly with most admins, get pluses which leads to the Mod role. Let me get this straight, being friendly and having a good relationship with staff does NOT make a person a good Moderator. Yet people are getting upgraded like it's f*cking Christmas and we get cases like Jack Hews. True that some people might turn out like him, there is no bulletproof vest for shots like that BUT, the way the staff applicants are being accepted right now is far too easy. Instead of giving pluses to a player just because he is friendly, try giving pluses for a player because he shows the qualities of a nice Moderator or person that could be one and would perform nicely as one.THIS
Also this is a big suggestion for all Staff, minuses and pluses to be valid, ONLY if a fair reason is supporting them. Not just - and + for ridiculous reasons or simply hate.THIS
Third issue is corruption. That includes lying. I will not start Crow's lying about meeting me and banning me for kos and crap like that, that's irrelevant for me as of now, the thing is about staff abusing commands, changing roles to suit them, using double roles or simply abusing their position to gain "respect".THIS
Respect is a seven-letter word with a meaning of much more letters. I do not think that just because someone is a Moderator, they should accept any form of argument, or simply questioning their decisions and bans, as disrespect, because some mods simply dislike "mere plebs" talking back to them. That is totally unacceptable, because everyone has the right to ask questions as long as they do not include insults, racism or any other REAL for of actual disrespect.AND THIS
Completly agree with ya mate about the mod apps. Some people get accepted so easily but later turn out to be complete failures as a mod (Jack Hews, King of Colours, Peanut Butter(sorry peanut but you just do sh8 job as a mod in my opinion) and many others) but others that will do good as mods but are just not that liked (like me #selfpromotion) get declined. Maybe a new mod application format or trial moderator being extended to a week or so will fix this issue a little bitAND FINALLY THIS!

Every time an application gets accepted the person gets trial for 2 to 3 days and then it is decided if he gets full mod or not.
The reason they are accepted so quickly, is because we are always in need of more staff. Why didn't I get accepted then? >:C
The reason they are accepted so quickly, is because we are always in need of more staff.Yeah, but how often does this create major problems.
